Meet Jess

Jessica Lamb is an organizational consultant and instructional coach based in New Orleans who partners with mission-driven leaders across education and nonprofit sectors to strengthen teaching practice, leadership, and organizational culture.

As Founder and CEO of Lamb Consulting, Jessica supports schools, districts, nonprofits, and arts organizations through instructional coaching, strategic planning, facilitation, and people-centered systems design. She works closely with teachers, paraprofessionals, and leadership teams to build capacity, strengthen staff culture, and design structures that are practical, inclusive, and built to last.

Jessica began her career as an elementary teacher in the Mississippi Delta — an experience that continues to ground her work in the realities of classrooms, school communities, and leadership on the ground. She brings more than a decade of experience helping organizations align people, systems, and priorities so leaders and teams can do their best work, especially during moments of change and growth.

Jessica holds a Master of Science in Education, Curriculum & Instruction from the University of Kansas and a Bachelor of Arts in History and Spanish from The Ohio State University. She is currently pursuing a doctorate in Educational Leadership.

Jessica's Approach

Jessica's work is grounded in the belief that strong organizations are built through clarity, trust, and people-centered systems. Having started her career in the classroom, she brings a practitioner's lens to every engagement — partnering closely with leaders to understand their context, identify root challenges, and design strategies that are both values-aligned and practical to implement.

Her approach blends strategic thinking with relational facilitation — supporting leaders to navigate complexity, make thoughtful decisions, and build cultures where people feel supported, accountable, and aligned around a shared purpose. Across engagements, the focus remains on creating sustainable change that leaders and teams can carry forward long after the work concludes.
